In 2013, I wrote about the differences between white gold and platinum. Back then, 18kt white gold was still cheaper than platinum, however, for the past four years, platinum prices have been steadily falling and have come down to record lows compared with gold.

Something that we do on a daily basis is provide quotes on manufacturing engagement rings, wedding rings and other jewellery. Sometimes, especially with very labourious jobs, customers are surprised at the high cost, whereas with simple jobs, the are surprised at the low cost.

A recent remark on our Twitter site has been taken completely out of context by by person(s) unknown and has been used vexatiously for a smear campaign against Bauer Gemmological Laboratories (BGL) in Melbourne.  We wish to state that BGL has never  lost  a diamond we have sent  to them, nor have they ever cost us one dollar in losses.

We have full confidence in BGL which is regarded as one of the three best grading laboratories in Australia and we are still sending our diamonds to BGL for certificate verification and laser inscribing.

Jogia Diamonds sincerely apologies for any  inconvenience this  incident has caused BGL.

Today we received some AGS Ideal princess cut diamonds, as well as the stones back from the GIA that we sent to them a few weeks ago.
