ASET Image

Developed by The American Gem Society, the ASET which stands for Angular Spectral Evaluation Tool, shows how bright a diamond is, as well as its optical symmetry.
RED represents the brightest light being returned from the diamond, BLUE represents the contrast, GREEN represents less bright light and WHITE represents leakage.
If a diamond is well cut, the ASET image will show only very small areas of black (or perhaps none).
