Custom Design

At Jogia Diamonds, 99% of our diamond rings and other diamond jewellery is handmade, meaning our designs are flexible and the possibilities are limitless. All of the rings on our website represent our past work and almost all of them have been designed from scratch. Whilst we mostly make engagement rings, we also design and manufacture wedding rings, eternity rings, dress rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, brooches and earrings.

Process for Custom Design

• Select a centre diamond and pay a 10% deposit.
• Tell us what you want and/or liaise with our designer. Our designer will then do the drawings and email them to you.
• We can optionally make a silver model for you to try on, at an extra cost.
• We'll manufacture the ring according to the design. Before setting, you can either try the ring on, or we can send you photos.
• Once complete you'll also receive a laminated original of the drawing.

CAD/CAM

Whilst traditional design and manufacture methods we believe, create a vastly superior result, we also realise that a small percentage of our customers want CAD (Computer Aided Design) jewellery. The benefits over traditional methods are:

• Usually less expensive, especially for very complex or time consuming pieces.
• Some designs can only, or are more suited to CAD.
• You can see the wax model and try it on before final casting.
• You can easily change the design during the design process without re-drawing.

Using CAD, the finished product is cast (not handmade), therefore, labour costs are kept to a minimum.

Costs

A piece of jewellery usually has four or five costs involved: design, labour for manufacturing, stone setting, metal and the cost of side stones. Our prices are as follows:

• Design/Drawing - $200 (credited back if piece is manufactured)
• Labour - $99/hour
• 18kt yellow/white/rose gold - $50/gram (subject to change)
• Platinum - $90/gram (subject to change)
